Dear Media Member:
The Tourism Whistler Communications Department is here to provide assistance for journalists. Explore our Web site and read news releases or search archived news releases dating to 2000.
As the convention and visitors bureau for Whistler, Tourism Whistler offers an extensive visiting journalists program year-round. We review all requests for visit assistance on a case-by-case basis.
What We Can Do For You
We can help organize your visit for media interested in Whistler. Our program can offer:
- Itinerary planning
- Story ideas
- Editorial content
- Fact-checking
- Images
- Broadcast-quality video footage
- Arranging interview subjects
- Film and television crew arrangements
- Advice on permits and insurance
Feel free to contact us throughout the year if you need additional assistance.
We would appreciate receiving a copy of your article or project by mail or email
when it's published.
What We Need From You
To tailor your Whistler visit and suit the specific needs of your assignment, please complete the Media Request and submit to the
media relations coordinator several weeks in advance of your proposed visit.
Visiting media may be subject to certain conditions, charges, resort fees and/or their own travel insurance requirements.
